We use dynamic and static wheel balancers. On the static machine, the wheel is balanced without spinning. On the other hand, the dynamic wheel balancing machine, replicates the spinning motion of a wheel while driving. This technique helps us achieve a higher degree of precision while conducting wheel balancing.

Step 1: We will dismount the wheel and place it in the balancing machine, spinning it at a high speed

Step 2: We will then note down the readings provided by the machine’s computer system.

Step 3: Next we will analyse the readings and pin-point the imbalance

Step 4: We adjust the wheel’s weight distribution by attaching small counterweights to the rim.

Step 5: The balance is again checked. If all is right, the wheel is re-mounted on the vehicle.

Step 6: We finish the process with a final tyre pressure check/adjustment.

To properly carry out the whole procedure, the machine must identify the exact location of the imbalance and provide the reading to the technician.
